Ever since Kelly fed Shelly her first crayon, the twins knew they were destined to become artists!

Once Upon a Time

The story of our little business venture began the summer of 2000 when everyone, include us, was rocking big hair. (see photographic proof above)

That summer, we attended an upscale art festival in Sun Valley, where we found ourselves at the booth of a young girl selling beautiful glass beaded jewelry.

Within moments, Kelly found herself tussling over a necklace with a mega-famous female celebrity who shall remain nameless. (That's a story for another day.) Words flew and Kelly eventually won the necklace tug-of-war. She asked the artist if matching earrings were available. The artist replied, “No, but I can quickly make some for you.”

We watched in awe as she pulled out several boxes of beads, findings and tools and quick-as-a-whistle whipped up a gorgeous pair of earrings without breaking a sweat. As Kelly handed over the lotsa lettuce she owed, our eyes met across the back of the artist’s chair and in our unspoken “twin talk” we echoed the identical sentiment… WE COULD DO THAT!!!

Upon returning to Boise we made a few trips to our local bead stores and the rest is ancient history.

Or visit us in person every Saturday (Mid-April thru Late October) from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm at our booth at the Downtown Boise Saturday Market. Our booth is located outdoors along the sidewalk that connect Main Street to the Grove. We seldom miss a Saturday. See you there!
